Boniface Łangowski

Bonifacy Łangowski (Germanized to Bonifatius Łangowski ) (born May 5, 1883 in Barłogi near Berent ; † March 22, 1940 in Stutthof concentration camp ) was a Polish- speaking lawyer and politician of the Free City of Danzig .

Life

Łangowski studied law and, after passing the second state examination in 1912, went freelance as a lawyer in Danzig .

In the negotiations in Paris on the Versailles Peace Treaty , he took part on the Polish side , along with Albert Jedwabski and Frank Kubacz . In 1920 he was a member of the Danzig State Council for the Polish minority . From 1920 to 1928 he was a member of the People's Day , the parliament of the Free City of Danzig, where he belonged to the Polish parliamentary group.

During the Nazi era he was politically persecuted, arrested and most recently murdered in the Stutthof concentration camp.
