Frank Kubacz

Frank Kubacz (Polish: Franciszek Kubacz ) (born May 17, 1868 in Neu Zielun near Strasburg in West Prussia ; † January 14, 1933 in Danzig ) was a Polish politician in the Free City of Danzig .

Frank Kubacz was the son of a farmer. He attended the Progymnasium in Löbau and the Gymnasium in Deutsch Krone, where he graduated from high school in 1887. He then studied medicine in Würzburg and Rostock, where he received his doctorate in 1892. med. received his doctorate. He worked as an assistant doctor at the Gdansk city hospital and later as a gynecologist in Gdansk.

In 1907 and 1912 he was a member of the electoral committee of the Polish party in West Prussia . In 1916 he was Danzig representative in the "non-partisan, secret citizens' committee of Poles in the Prussian subregions".

Frank Kubacz was appointed to the Danzig State Council in 1920 to represent the small Polish minority in Danzig . In the negotiations in Paris on the Versailles Peace Treaty , he took part on the Polish side , along with Bonifatius Łangowski and Albert Jedwabski . He belonged to the ND . In the election for the constituent assembly in Gdansk in 1920 he was elected as one of the seven Poles in the constituent assembly, which then became the first people's day . He was re-elected in the People's Day election in Gdansk in 1923 and left the People's Day in 1928. In Volkstag he was parliamentary group leader of the Polish parliamentary group.

In the years 1921–1926 he headed the Association of Polish Educational Institutions in Gdańsk (Gdańska Macierz Szkolna) and was a sponsor of the establishment of the Polish High School in Gdańsk (Gimnazjum Polskie w Gdańsku).
