The Bonneberg is a mountain with a height of 170 m above sea level. NN in Vlotho . The mountain is located in the northern area of the district Valdorf . Its name can be explained by the oldest known mention as Bunenberg , i.e. Bune (stage) for a larger, even elevation. Naturally, it belongs to the Weserbergland and Lipper Bergland . The Bonneberg was once also named for the former municipality Valdorf belonging peasantry Bonneberg (Location) . To the south lies the Paterberg nature reserve .
