The Bonney Bar is a mountain ridge in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It extends in a northerly direction from the Kukri Hills across the Taylor Valley to Lake Bonney .
The western group, led by the British geographer Thomas Griffith Taylor (1880–1963), named it during the Terra Nova Expedition (1910–1913) based on the name of the lake of the same name, which was named after the British geologist Thomas George Bonney (1833– 1923) is.
