The boot Dusseldorf , short boot (officially International Boat Show Dusseldorf ), is the world's largest and most important international boat show held in January on the site of an annual fair Dusseldorf at the Düsseldorf Rhine instead. In 2008 boot comprised an exhibition area of ​​220,000 m² in 17 exhibition halls. 279,000 visitors came to this exhibition in 2008; in 2007 there were 273,000, after 292,000 visitors in 2006. The 1650 exhibitors in 2007 were looked after by around 2000 employees at Messe Düsseldorf. Around 4,500 journalists were also present.
