A boat troop of the German Life Rescue Society or the water rescue service is a sub-unit of a water rescue group and a rapid action group water rescue . He has a water rescue equipment vehicle (DLRG, fire brigades ) or a special water rescue vehicle (water rescue service ) and a lifeboat .

The boat squad also supports the diving team in the search and rescue of drowning people, the search for and recovery of corpses or the recovery of property. However, it is also particularly used for technical and, if necessary, economic assistance on the water.

Emergency services
