The Borabay Gölü (Borabay Lake) is a lake in Turkey . It is 15 kilometers from Taşova in Amasya Province . The height above sea level is 800 m. The water is up to eleven meters deep, 500 meters long and between 40 and 110 meters wide.
The formation of Lake Borabay is attributed to landslides and faults during the Jurassic .
