Borga (mountain)

The Borga is a 2594  m high mountain with a flattened and ice-covered summit, from which numerous cliffs protrude, in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises at the northern end of the Borg massif .

Norwegian cartographers mapped the mountain using geodetic surveys and aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952). The descriptive name is borrowed from the Norwegian word for " castle ".
