The Borgward BX6 is a crossover SUV that has been available since 2018 and is offered by the Chinese car manufacturer Beiqi Foton Motor under the Borgward brand . Technically, the vehicle is based on the Borgward BX5 .

history

The vehicle's world premiere took place at the 86th Geneva Motor Show in March 2016 as the BX6 TS concept vehicle . Borgward presented the series version on May 9, 2018. It has been on sale since the end of 2018.

The BX6 is powered by a turbocharged two-liter gasoline engine with a maximum output of 165 kW (224 hp), which is also used in the BX5 and BX7 . The vehicle is sold with a 6- speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive .
