The Bori (also Arwaja ) is a left tributary of the Bhima in southern India .

It rises four kilometers north of Tuljapur in the state of Maharashtra and is about 140 km long. On its way south, the river crosses mostly agricultural areas and is often dammed, especially in the upper course. It finally flows into the Bhima to the west of Afzalpur in the state of Karnataka .

The imposing fortress of Naldurg is also located on the Bori . It was perfectly integrated into the river bed by the builders. After it was built by the Chalukya kings, the fortress was continuously expanded. The massive weir on Bori was built by the Adil Shahi Sultan Ali Adil Shah II .
