Eugene Kevin Boris Mbala (born January 19, 1996 in Yaounde ) is a Cameroonian - Swiss basketball player .

career

Mbala played in the youth movement of Bulle Basket in the canton of Friborg before moving to the youth department of Friborg Olympic . There he made his debut in the National League A during the 2014/15 season . In 2016 he became Swiss champions with Freiburg, in 2018 he won the championship, the cup and the league cup with the team.

In the summer of 2018 he moved within the National League to BBC Monthey-Chablais , after which he rejoined Friborg Olympic.

National team

Mbala took part in the 2015 European B Championship with the Swiss U20 national team. He was called up to the squad of the Cameroon national team in the run-up to the 2017 African Cup of Nations, but missed the tournament. He was later appointed to the Swiss men's national team.
