Boris Wassiljewitsch Andrejew ( Russian Борис Васильевич Андреев ; born January 21, 1906 in Moscow , Russian Empire ; † March 9, 1987 ) was a Soviet sports shooter .
successes
Boris Andreev took part in the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki in two disciplines. Like Iosif Sîrbu , he hit the maximum possible number of 400 points in the prone position. In the subsequent counting of the perfect hits in the middle of the target, Sîrbu prevailed with 33 perfect hits against 28 hits by Andrejew. So Sîrbu was Olympic champion before Andrejew and Arthur Jackson . In the three-position fight he scored 1163 points, with which he placed behind Erling Kongshaug and Vilho Ylönen on the bronze rank.
Andreev was multiple Soviet champion. During his career he was active at Dynamo Moscow , CSKA Moscow and Spartak Moscow . His awards include the Order of the Red Star , the Order of the Red Banner and the Order of Lenin .
