Borjana Krišto

Borjana Krišto (born August 13, 1961 in Livno , Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian politician. From 2007 to 2011 she was President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina .

Life

The Croatian Borjana Krišto attended elementary and middle school in her hometown of Livno . After leaving school in 1983 graduated Krišto in Banja Luka in the field of jurisprudence . Borjana Krišto worked in the legal department of several companies until 1999 . Krišto received his doctorate in 2001 in Sarajevo in the field of law . From 1999 to 2000 she worked as Minister of Justice in Canton 10 . From 2000 to 2002 Krišto took over the post of General Secretary in Canton 10 . Borjana Krišto was President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from February 22, 2007 to March 17, 2011, and at the same time she was the first woman to hold this post since the independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina . Borjana Krišto is a party member in the Croatian Democratic Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina .
