The 2011/12 season was the fourth season of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian ice hockey league , the highest Bosnian-Herzegovinian ice hockey league . Champion became the first time in the club history of HK Ilidža 2010 .
Season course
The league started on January 9, 2012 with three participants after the reigning champions HK Bosna withdrew their team. The remaining teams were HK Alfa Novo Sarajevo , HK Ilidža 2010 and HK Stari Grad . Each team was supposed to play 12 games, but the league had to be abandoned prematurely after only six games played, as the roof of the country's only available ice rink in Sarajevo collapsed due to the pressure from heavy snowfall.
The season resumed in November 2012 after the rink was repaired. Another three main round games were played before the two best-placed teams played the championship finals.
