Bounkou Camara

Bounkou Camara or Bonko Camara (born February 6, 1988 ) is a Mauritanian athlete . In 2008 she was a participant in the Olympic Games.

Life

Camara took part in the 2007 World Athletics Championships in Osaka. She started in the 100-meter run competition and retired in the preliminary round at prelim 8 with 13.93 seconds as the last runner in the race. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 , she started in the 100 m (women) competition and was eliminated in the preliminary round in preliminary 3 with 13.69 seconds as the last runner of the race. At the 2011 World Athletics Championships in Daegu (South Korea) , Camara ran the 100-meter run in 14.05 seconds and was eliminated in the preliminary round, finishing in 34th place. In Maputo at the 2011 African Games , she ran the route in 14th , 20 seconds and thus achieved 9th place in the run and was eliminated in the preliminary round. Then she ended her sports career.
