Boyd Gaines
Boyd Payne Gaines (born May 11, 1953 in Atlanta , Georgia ) is an American theater , film and television actor .
Life
Boyd Gaines has appeared in a number of films and television series, such as Fame , LA Law , Law & Order and One Day at a Time (together with Valerie Bertinelli ). Gaines is also a well-known television, audio book , and voice actor in the United States .
He has so far won four Tony Awards for his theater work on Broadway . He's the only one so far to have been nominated in all four Tony Awards acting categories. In order to have won all of them, all he needs is an award for Best Actor in a Play .
