Valerie Bertinelli
Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 23, 1960 in Wilmington , Delaware ) is an American actress .
Life
Valerie Bertinelli is known from the American television show One Day at a Time , in which she plays Bonnie Franklin's younger daughter Barbara Cooper. She later starred in two short-lived television series: Sydney , in which young Matthew Perry played her brother, and Café Americain . She was also seen in several American television films and was part of the cast of Touched by an Angel from 2001 to 2003 . In 2008 she starred with singer JoJo in the film True Confession of a Hollywood Starlet . From 2010 to 2015 she starred as Melanie Moretti in the television series Hot in Cleveland .
In April 1981 she married the rock guitarist Eddie Van Halen , from whom she divorced on December 22, 2007 after living apart for six years. In 1991 they had a son, Wolfgang Van Halen .
