Boykinia rotundifolia is a species of the genus Boykinia in the family Saxifragaceae (Saxifragaceae).

description

Boykinia rotundifolia is a perennial, herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 45 to 90 centimeters. It forms a rhizome . The leaf blade is palmate, the outline is circular to broadly ovate, there are numerous lobes and the edge is serrated. The petals are only slightly longer than the sepals, 2 millimeters long and white. The fruits are hanging.

The flowering period extends from June to August.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 14.

Occurrence

Boykinia rotundifolia is found in California . The species grows on river banks in ravines.
