The bridge over the Dippelsbach in Ahlsdorf was a listed bridge in the center of Ahlsdorf in Saxony-Anhalt . Around 2018 it was replaced by a new building.

The bridge crossed the Dippelsbach in the course of the main road . To the east of the bridge, Grundstrasse merged with Hauptstrasse from the south . About 20 meters north of the bridge, the Dippelsbach joins the Vietzbach to form Böse Sieben .

Architecture and history

The bridge was built in 1801 and probably renewed in 1900. It was made of large red sandstone blocks in a construction typical of the region as a simple arched bridge . The cheeks of the bridge were angled.

In the local register of monuments , the bridge was listed as a monument under registration number 094 65533 . In 2018 the bridge was removed from the list of monuments after an approved demolition.
