history
The foundation stone of the Brückner group of companies was laid in 1949 with the founding of Brückner Klimatechnik GmbH by Kurt Brückner. It was a technical office in Stuttgart- West. The main product was air conditioning systems that are manufactured in-house. In 1952 the enlarged factory was relocated to Stuttgart-Kaltental in order to manufacture in rented factory space. This year the first Brückner stenter frame is sold to a customer.
In 1953 a factory was built in Leonberg, which initially only housed design offices. In 1954, the company Trockentechnik Kurt Brückner KG was founded and stenter frames were manufactured in Leonberg. The location developed into the main administration. The Brückner Trockentechnik GmbH & Co. KG, established in 1981, also housed the majority of research and development and mainly manufactured the inlets and outlets for the textile finishing machines until 2005. Since then, Brückner has only produced in the factory in Tittmoning, which has existed since 1960. After the company's founder died in 1995, his daughter Regina Brückner took over management of the company in 1999. In 2017, a new production facility with a covered area of 25,000 m² for over 200 workplaces was built in Tittmoning on an area of approx. 80,000 m².
