The Bründlbach is a brook in the Graz district of Straßgang .

The stream rises as a karst spring in the Eisbründl cave on the eastern slope of the Buchkogel right next to the southern emergency exit of the Plabutsch tunnel . The source is contained and blocked with a grid.

The Bruendl stream fed in the upper reaches of the Bruendl ponds, three created in the 19th century by monks as fish ponds and since 1990 protected pond . These are a valuable inner-city biotope and popular local recreation area for the population of Graz. The Bründlbach is on the St. Martin Castle Nature Trail .

The middle course was blocked by a retention basin in 2012. From the height of Krottendorfer Strasse, the stream is piped and the lower reaches are often dried out as a result. From Krottendorfer Strasse, the stream bed continues south-east through the area of the Gablenz barracks to Straßganger Strasse, where it joins the canal system.
