The Brabazon Point is a headland at the Danco Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . In Hughes Bay it marks the east side of the entrance to Salvesen Cove .
Participants of the Belgica expedition (1897-1899) of the Belgian polar explorer Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery mapped it for the first time, but did not name it. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1960 after the British aviation pioneer John Moore-Brabazon, 1st Baron Brabazon of Tara (1884–1964), who was the first Briton to fly an aircraft in April 1909 and the aerial photography department of the First World War Royal Flying Corps headed.
