Bradford Robotic Telescope

The Bradford Robotic Telescope is a fully automatic telescope on Tenerife near the Pico del Teide . It automatically processes orders that were previously entered via the browser . This service can be used by anyone.

Galaxy

Galaxy is the main telescope with a large aperture and focal length. It has the following technical data:

• Field of view : 24 minutes of arc
• Lens : Schmidt-Cassegrain Celestron C14
• Focal length : 3910 mm / 1877 mm
• Opening : 355 mm

For a better aperture ratio , a focal length reducer was installed, which shortens the focal length to 1877 mm, resulting in an aperture ratio of f / 5.3.

Cluster

Cluster is a camera that can be used to photograph areas of the sky the size of the moon . Particularly suitable for large-area galaxies and ring nebulae . It has the following technical data:

• Field of view: 3 °
• Lens: Nikon
• Focal length: 200 mm
• Camera: FLI MaxCam CM2-1 with an E2V CCD47-10. CCD chip with 1k × 1k pixels and 13 µm / pixel

Constellation

Constellation is a camera that aims at the sky with a single magnification . With it it is possible to photograph entire constellations or large regions of the sky. It has the following technical data:

• Lens: Nikon
• Focal length: 45 mm
• Opening: 16 mm
• Camera: FLI MaxCam CM2-1 with an E2V CCD47-10. CCD chip with 1k × 1k pixels and 13 µm / pixel
