Bradley Scott Davies (born January 9, 1987 in Llantrisant , Rhondda Cynon Taf , Glamorgan ) is a Welsh rugby union player who plays in the second row . He is active for the Cardiff Blues and the Welsh national team .

Davies was discovered at the age of 14 and went through all the youth national teams in the country. He managed to win the Grand Slam in the Six Nations of this age group with the U19 selection . In the same season he ran for the first time for the Blues in the Magners League . In the summer of 2008 he was called up to the ranks of the national team under Warren Gatland for the first time , but was unable to play due to an ankle injury. He actually made his debut for Wales at the 2009 Six Nations against Scotland . In the same year he won the EDF Energy Cup with the Blues .
