Bradley D. Norton (born January 11, 1991 in Melbourne ) is an Australian football player . The left-footed player plays as a left full-back or in the left midfield and played two games in the A-League for Adelaide United in 2010 .
Career
The junior selection player of the state of Victoria came via the lower class clubs Essendon Royals and Port Melbourne Sharks for the 2009 season in the Victorian Premier League (VPL) to the Melbourne Knights . During the VPL season break, Norton played for the youth team of the professional club Melbourne Victory in the A-League National Youth League , before he was again active in the VPL for Northcote City SC for the 2010 season .
In July 2010 he completed a trial training at Adelaide United and convinced professional trainer Rini Coolen , among other things, during his use in a friendly game against North Queensland Fury . In September he was ultimately poached by Victory, for whose youth team he was again intended, and moved to the youth team of Adelaide United with the prospect of being taken over into the professional squad for the following season. The signing of the player, who is not from South Australia , caused upset against the background that a local player missed a shot. Norton was preferred to Craig Goodwin, among others .
For Adelaide's professional team, Norton made his debut in the A-League on September 24, 2011 after a late substitution against Perth Glory . By the end of the season there was another short stint against Melbourne Heart , before he agreed with the club on an early termination of his contract shortly before the start of the following season and returned to Melbourne. There he joined South Melbourne FC at the end of 2011 , with whom he competes again in the VPL.
