Uwe Saher

Brainwork and Element 4 are music projects by the Cologne synthesist Uwe Saher (* 1964 ).

Its musical style covers a relatively broad spectrum from the field of electronic music . Under the project name Brainwork, Saher publishes instrumental music based primarily on classical electronics, which is comparable to a sophisticated mixture of Jean Michel Jarre , Tangerine Dream , Christopher Franke , Klaus Schulze and Vangelis ; however, the focus varies depending on the album. The music of the Element 4 releases, although it has a certain recognition value for Brainwork listeners , is more techno - and trance- oriented.

Brainwork peaked in popularity in the 1990s. Thus, the project has been assigned his debut CD Sunrise in the vibrations -Choice of WDR to 4th place as best newcomer; Furthermore, the song Rhythm Base from the album of the same name was chosen as the track of the year 1994. In the 1990s, Uwe Saher also performed live several times, e.g. B. at the "Alpha Centauri Festival" in Huizen and at three "Multimedia Festivals" in Cologne .

All Brainwork and Element 4 CDs are produced on the electronics label CUE Records .
