Brandenburg country party
The Brandenburger Landpartie is an event of the Brandenburg Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Climate Protection , the State Farmers' Association and the Brandenburg Rural Women Association , which has existed since 1994 . On the second weekend in June, farms , agricultural businesses , market gardens and rural cultural institutions open their doors, giving visitors an insight into modern and past agriculture. The event is accompanied by an opening program in one of the participating municipalities. In 2014 around 270 companies in Brandenburg took part in the event. The opening took place in an organic business by the Minister for Infrastructure and Agriculture Jörg Vogelsänger in Wiesenburg / Mark . While there were around 40,000 guests in the 1990s, the event has been attended by around 100,000 guests in each of the past years.
