The Bui ( Russian Буй ) is a left tributary of the Kama in the northeast of the European part of Russia .

The Bui rises on the Tulvinskaya Heights in the south of the Perm region . It flows in a west-southwest direction into the Republic of Bashkortostan . It flows north past Janaul . The river is dammed in the lower reaches. Finally, it flows south of Kambarka in Udmurtia into the Kama, which is dammed up to form the Nizhnekamsk reservoir .

The Bui has a length of 228 km. It drains an area of ​​6530 km². The mean discharge at the village Tschischmy on the middle course is 24.3 m³ / s.

At least in the past, rafting was carried out on the river .
