Identification is required in German casinos. In accordance with legal requirements, every guest must present a valid identity card or passport for comparison with the lock file and must be at least 18 years old in order to be allowed to take part in gambling. In mid-August 2016, the casino installed a new entry system in its houses that works with a modern vein scanner . However, guests can still check-in “traditionally” by checking their ID.

Player protection

In addition to offering educational materials on problematic gambling behavior and the provision of professional help, the Brandenburg casinos enable people at risk to be banned from gambling themselves. Blocked persons are entered in the blocking system and are not given access to the casino.

With the help of the self- lock, people can be locked themselves. The form for a self-locking is available in every Brandenburg casino.
