Brandon Novak (born December 10, 1978 in Baltimore , Maryland ) is an American skateboarder , author and member of the " CKY Crew". In the videos of the CKY film series, he sometimes appeared under the pseudonym Dreamseller ( English for dream seller ).

Drug addiction

Novak is known to have been addicted to heroin from the age of 15 . Although he has been able to combat this addiction successfully in rehab clinics and through withdrawal programs since 2003, he admitted to using cocaine and often alcohol and painkillers since 2007 . The song Killing Loneliness by Finnish band HIM was inspired by Novak's statement that he used heroin to "kill his loneliness," according to frontman Ville Valo .

Novak has been “clean” since May 2015 and gives lectures in a rehabilitation clinic to help other drug addicts.

Dreamseller

In October 2008 the book Dreamseller was published , which was written by Novak and Joe Frantz. It's about Novak's life during his heroin addiction. Production of a film adaptation was planned in early 2007, but was halted when Novak relapsed. Bam Margera , who will play Novak in the film, announced in late 2007 that production of the film would resume.
