Branko Klepac (born September 14, 1979 in Speyer ) is a former national basketball player .

career

In 1998, Branko Klepac moved from the second division TSV Speyer to Telekom Baskets Bonn . At the beginning of his time in Bonn, he ran under a double license for both Telekom Baskets Bonn and SG Sechtem in the second basketball league until 2001. In 1999 and 2001 he advanced to the finals of the German championship with Bonn, but lost to Alba Berlin in both 1999 and 2001 . In 2005 he was in the final of the BBL Cup with the Telekom Baskets Bonn . There, however, Bonn had to admit defeat to the RheinEnergie Köln team. Branko Klepac was also a member of the German national team, having made 14 international matches between 1999 and 2004 but never really gained a foothold there due to various injuries.

In 2006 he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis , which forced him to retire from his career.

Today Branko Klepac works for the sports marketing department at Deutsche Telekom.
