Branko Tomović

Branko Tomović (born June 17, 1980 in Münster ) is a German actor.

Career

Tomović comes from a Serbian family. He passed his Abitur at the Johann-Conrad-Schlaun-Gymnasium in Münster. He then moved to New York.

He played the assistant Belcheck of Jack Bauer in the television series 24 on the side of Kiefer Sutherland. He shot with directors like Ken Loach, Paul Greengrass, David Ayer, Pete Travis and Sönke Wortmann. He has appeared on camera with Matt Damon in The Bourne Ultimatum , Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf in Heart of Steel , Debbie Harry in Believe the Magic , Anthony Hopkins and Bencio del Toro in Wolfman and John Goodman in The Popess . He also appeared in international television series such as Homeland , Law & Order , Whitechapel , Silent Witness and Counterpart . Tomović was selected as “One to Watch” by English MovieScope Magazine and as “Rising Star” by Icon Magazine. He played one of the leading roles in the German movie Luna . He also took on a role in Dogs of Berlin .

Tomović made his directorial debut with the thriller Red . He has received awards and nominations at the North Hollywood Cinefest, Maverick Movie Awards, Naperville Independent Film Festival, San Diego International Film Festival, the European Film Award Qualifying Festival in Drama, the BAFTA Qualifying Carmathen Bay Film Festival, Berlin Independent Film Festival, Tangier International Film festival.

Tomović has lived in West Hampstead, London, since 2005 .
