Brazilian national badminton team

The Brazilian national badminton team represents the Brazilian badminton association, the Confederação Brasileira de Badminton (CBV), in international individual and team competitions. As a team, it competes as an all-male team (e.g. in the Thomas Cup ), all-female team (e.g. in the Uber Cup ) or a mixed team (e.g. in the Sudirman Cup ). The training center is in Campinas, São Paulo state .

International position

Like most Latin American countries, Brazil only plays a subordinate role in international badminton. In Latin America itself, Brazil ranks first. However, Peru and Mexico in particular are often ahead of the Brazilians in the ranking. On the other hand, there is a larger performance gap to the North American competition from Canada and the USA.
