The Conrad Brewery was one of two breweries in Alesheim in the Weissenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia . It was at the old house number 53.

history

The house has belonged to the Wülzburg monastery since the 15th century . In 1734 the brewer Johann Mathias Moßner bought the property. In 1830 Georg Christian Meier from Trommetsheim bought the brewery. His son sold it to Ludwig Conrad from Weimersheim in 1861 . His son, Christian Conrad, ran the business from 1896. In 1928 the property burned down and the brewing activity ended. In the following year the son bought the neighboring property with the former second brewery Stephanswirt . To this day, the property is a well-known restaurant.
