The Zum Lamm brewery was a brewery in Nennslingen , a market town in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen , which existed alongside the Ritter St. Georg brewery, which is still active today. The Zum Lamm brewery was first located at the old house number 87, and from 1883 at number 123.

history

The brewery dates back to the 16th century. In 1574 a Hans Mögen can be identified as a beer brew, in 1651 an Andreas Ammersdorffer can be identified. After his death, his widow Helena Maria Ammersdorffer ran the brewery first alone and then with her second husband Hans Georg Gloßner. It remained in the possession of the Gloßner family until 1865. From 1874 Simon Knoll was the owner, who 25 years later sold it to Christian Obermeyer. After his death, his widow Babette Obermeier ran the brewery from 1923. Her son was the last brewer from 1929 and 1942.
