Braulio Nóbrega Rodríguez (born September 18, 1985 in Puerto del Rosario ), called Braulio , is a Spanish football player .

Player career

Atlético

Braulio comes from the youth of the Spanish first division club Atlético Madrid . After he was initially called up for the 2003/04 season in the B-Team of the Madrid, he signed a professional contract with Atlético Madrid in the summer of 2004. At Atlético he did not get beyond the role as a supplementary player through well-known competition such as Fernando Torres among others. In January 2006, he moved to Atlético's league rivals RCD Mallorca on loan , but even there he only made two appearances in the entire second half of the season.

Loan to Salamanca and move to Getafe

For the following season, 2006/07 Atlético decided to loan Braulio to the second division UD Salamanca , where he made his breakthrough in professional football with 14 goals in 39 appearances. Since Atlético already had an oversupply of strikers with Sergio Agüero , Diego Forlán and many other good offensive players, it was decided to sell Braulio to Getafe FC , with whom he even played in the 2007/08 season in the UEFA Cup .

Real Zaragoza

After a disappointing season at Getafe FC, Braulio signed a contract with first division relegated Real Saragossa in the summer of 2008 . There he managed to immediately regain promotion and was able to contribute three goals. In the first half of the 2009/10 season , however, he was hardly used and was loaned to Recreativo Huelva in the Segunda División in the second half . In the summer of 2010 he returned to Zaragoza and was regularly employed there until October 2011. In October 2011, he reached an agreement with Real Zaragoza to terminate his contract after he was accused of sexual abuse.

Cartagena FC

In January 2012 his move to Cartagena FC, a club in the Spanish second division ( Segunda División ), was officially announced. There he received a contract until the end of the 2011/2012 season. He made his official debut with the team on February 5, 2012.

Hércules Alicante

In the summer of 2012 he moved to Hércules Alicante until the end of the 2012/13 season .
