The Braunhuberpark is a 5000 m² park in the Simmering district . It is located between Lorygasse, Ehamgasse and Braunhubergasse and was built in 2008 based on a concept from the landscape planning group , a merger of the Dr. Paula and Land.In.Sicht, redesigned. In addition to old trees and meadows, the park has a toddler, child and youth playground with a sand playground, seating, drinking fountain and a dog zone . The groups of pine trees are characteristic of the park .
history
The Braunhuberpark got its name on June 24, 1875 together with the adjacent Braunhubergasse and was named after the farmer and mayor of Simmering (term of office: 1856-1862 ) Joseph Braunhuber (1811-1862).
