The house Braunschweiger Straße 104 is a listed residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located on the west side of Braunschweiger Straße. To the north is the also listed building Braunschweiger Straße 103 , to the south is the house Braunschweiger Straße 105 . The building is a single monument in the Braunschweiger Straße 1–10, 98–108 monument area .

Architecture and history

The plastered four-storey house was built in 1884 for the painter Gustav Schulze. The representative building was constructed according to plans by the architect Max Behrendt . The eight-axis facade is designed in the neo-renaissance style. The two outer axes are combined. On the ground floor and the bel étage , the facade is heavily rusted.

In the monument register for Magdeburg , the residential building is listed as a monument under registration number 094 81943 .

The building is considered part of the preserved late nineteenth row of houses as being essential for the streetscape and important document for planning development Sudenburgs in the construction period.
