It is located on the east side of Braunschweiger Strasse in Magdeburg's Sudenburg district . The building is a single monument in the Braunschweiger Straße 1–10, 98–108 monument area . The building, which is also listed, Braunschweiger Straße 2 , borders to the north and Halberstädter Straße 86 to the south .
Architecture and history
The building was erected in 1887 by master bricklayer A. Rüther , who also made the design. The four and a half storey building is designed in the style of Neumanierism . The six-axis facade is decorated on the two lower floors with differently designed rustics .
The residential and commercial building is listed as a historical building under registration number 094 81926 in the monument register for Magdeburg .
As part of the Wilhelminian style street, the building is considered significant in terms of urban development.
