It is located on the east side of Braunschweiger Strasse in Magdeburg's Sudenburg district . The building is a single monument in the Braunschweiger Straße 1–10, 98–108 monument area . To the north is the building, which is also listed, Braunschweiger Straße 3 , to the south, to the building Braunschweiger Straße 1 .
Architecture and history
The four and a half storey building was built in 1887 by master bricklayer A. Rüther according to his own plans . The six-axis facade of the yellow brick building is designed in the style of Neumanierism .
The residential and commercial building is listed as a historical building under registration number 094 81927 in the monument register for Magdeburg .
As part of the Wilhelminian style street, the building is considered to be significant in terms of urban development and is considered to be culturally and artistically noteworthy.
