The house Braunschweiger Straße 4 is a listed residential and commercial building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on the east side of Braunschweiger Strasse in Magdeburg's Sudenburg district . The building is a single monument in the Braunschweiger Straße 1–10, 98–108 monument area . To the north is the building, which is also listed, Braunschweiger Straße 5 , to the south, to the building Braunschweiger Straße 3 .
Architecture and history
The four and a half storey yellow brick building was built in 1887 by master bricklayer A. Rüther according to his own design. The six-axis facade is designed in the style of Neumanierism . The tectonic structural elements are made from plaster elements. In addition, there are some figurative reliefs made of stucco . The outer arches above some of the windows are made of red bricks. There is a shop on the ground floor, but the design no longer corresponds to the original design.
The residential and commercial building is listed as a historical building under registration number 094 81929 in the monument register for Magdeburg .
The building is considered part of the late nineteenth street of houses as urban important and is an example of the architecture of the early days in Sudenburg.
