Braustolz is a beer brand and a former brewery from the Saxon city of Chemnitz . The beer of the beer brand Braustolz is now brewed in the Sternquell brewery in Plauen .

history

Former location Am Feldschlößchen 18

The brewery was founded in Chemnitz-Kappel in 1868 . In 1991 the brewery was taken over by the Kulmbacher Group . This relocated production in 2017 to the Sternquell brewery in Plauen-Neuensalz, the traditional location in Chemnitz was closed. Most recently, 28 million bottles of beer were brewed here.

The brewery buildings have now been placed under monument protection.
