The house Brechtstraße 1a is a listed restaurant building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .
The garden restaurant is located north of the historic Quedlinburg city center. It is registered as a restaurant in the Quedlinburg monument register. The restaurant Zum Kleers is operated in the house.
Architecture and history
The elongated, single - storey half-timbered building dates from before 1850 and is an early example of a garden restaurant in a suburban location. On the south side of the street An den Fischteichen there is an elaborate display facade in the style of the neo-renaissance .
In 1907 the property was given an artistically designed property fence.
