The Bremner Glacier is a glacier in the Chugach Mountains in south-central Alaska .

The glacier has three glacier tongues . Its nutrient area lies at an altitude of 2200  m on the northern flank of Mount Hawkins , an eastern sub-peak of Mount Tom White . It initially flows 16 km in a northeasterly direction. It then joins two tributary glaciers flowing in from the right and turns to the north. It now flows 21 km north. The Middle Fork glacier tongue branches off to the west after 9 km. After another 12 km, the main glacier splits into the North Fork glacier tongue , which faces west, and the Tana glacier tongue , which flows east. The main glacier has an average width of 2.5 km. The three glacier tongues are in retreat.

Glacier tongues

The Middle Fork glacier tongue is 12.3 km long. It has an average width of 2.8 km and ends at an altitude of about 700  m . The Middle Fork Bremner River drains the glacier.

The North Fork glacier tongue is 8.6 km long and 2 km wide. It ends at an altitude of 550  m and feeds the North Fork Bremner River .

The Tana glacier tongue is only 4.6 km long and a maximum of 2.1 km wide. It faces east and forms the origin of the West Fork Tana River . The glacier tongue ends at an altitude of 550  m .
