Shearer's Inc. is based in Brewster. It makes Shearer's potato chips and other snacks . Brewster Dairy, the largest US manufacturer of Emmentaler, is also located here. This expansion of the marketing of agricultural products makes Brewster one of the most innovative communities in Stark County.
