Brian Hayes Currie

Brian Hayes Currie (* 1961 ) is an American actor , screenwriter and film producer .

Life

Currie has appeared as an actor in small roles since 1992 and was seen in more than a dozen productions until the end of 2018. In 2006 he first appeared as a screenwriter with Two Tickets to Paradise . He was then involved in the development of the script for Green Book - A Special Friendship , for which he and Nick Vallelonga and Peter Farrelly received the Oscar in the category of best original script in 2019 . This production was also the first film in which he was also involved as a producer. For this he also won the Oscar in the category of best film .

Currie is friends with Nick Vallelonga as a result of his work in a nightclub and according to his own statement it was Currie who introduced the story for Green Book - a special friendship originally from Vallelonga - to the later director and co-writer Peter Farrelly .
