Brian Huggett (born November 18, 1936 ) is a Welsh professional golfer .

He became a professional golfer in 1951 and won 16 tournaments at the highest European level, two of which were part of the European Tour established in 1972 . In 1968, Huggett won the European money list.

After founding the European Seniors Tour in 1992, he won ten tournaments in this series for professional golfers over 50, including a senior major , the Senior British Open 1998. After the 2001 season, he retired from professional tournament golf.

In the Ryder Cup , Huggett was represented six times in a row in the team of Great Britain & Ireland from 1963 to 1975 and in 1977 he was captain (non-playing captain) of the team. He played nine times for Wales in the World Cup .

Brian Huggett has been married to Winnie since 1961 and has two daughters. His residence is in Ross-on-Wye, England . He works successfully as a golf course designer under his trademark Brian Huggett Design .
