Brian Kilmeade (born May 7, 1964 ) is an American television presenter . He was best known as the co-host of Fox & Friends on the Fox News Channel program .

Life and work

Kilmeade began working as a correspondent for the cable news channel Fox News in December 1997. For this he first contributed reports on various sports events such as the Super Bowl , before he also began to report on political events such as the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 .

Together with Steve Doocy and Gretchen Carlson , he has presented the Fox & Friends program since 2006, which is broadcast on the morning program of Fox News from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. east coast time. The show offers a mixture of news from the areas of "politics and society", entertainment and sports as well as discussions with guests in the studio and has been ranked as the most popular political program on US breakfast television for several years .

From April 2006 to May 2010 Kilmeade also hosted the program Brian and the Judge on Fox's radio offshoot Fox News Radio with Andrew Napolitano ; since Napolitano's departure, the show has been called Kilmeade and Friends .
