Brian Mushimba

Brian Mushimba (born November 7, 1974 ) is a Zambian politician of the Patriotic Front (PF).

Life

Mushimba first completed a degree in engineering , which he completed with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Engineering). He completed a postgraduate course in management with a Master of Business Administration (MBA), while he completed another postgraduate course in engineering management with a Master of Science (M.Sc. Engineering Management). He worked as an engineer.

In the election on August 11, 2016, he was elected for the first time as a member of the National Assembly of Zambia as a candidate of the Patriotic Front (PF) and represents the constituency of Kankoyo . Shortly after his election, he was appointed by President Edgar Lungu to succeed Kapembwa Simbao as Minister for Communications and Transport in his cabinet .
