Brian Part

Brian Part (born March 24, 1962 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor and musician, who was mainly known through his role as the adopted son of Mr. Edwards ( Victor French ) in the family series Our Little House ( Little House on the Prairie ) has become known.

life and career

Brian Part wanted to become an actor when he was five. When he was ten years old, his father died. Before his death, he had asked Brian's mother to encourage her son's interest in acting and motorcycle racing. In 1975 Part received the role of Carl Sanderson, the youngest son of the widow Julia Sanderson, played by Patricia Neal . His eldest brother John junior was played by Radames Pera and his sister Alicia by Kyle Richards . After their mother's death, he and his siblings are adopted by Isiah Edwards ( Victor French ) and Grace Snider ( Bonnie Bartlett ). Part is said to have loved this role, even if he had never read Laura Ingalls Wilder's original books . His film father Victor French remained as much a father figure for him as Michael Landon .

In 1978 Part had a small role in a fantasy film with Bette Davis and Christopher Lee The Victory of the Star Children , in 1983 he played the role of Kevin Costello in the comedy Max Dugan's Moneten , which would be his last role so far.

Brian Part gave up acting at the age of 20 and concentrated more on music in the years that followed. For several years he was the singer of the band Silent Stranger . In 1994 he married his wife Melody, with whom he performed under the name The Parts .
